Data analysis at Diamond is primarily performed through DAWN, an eclipse-based workbench. It is a high quality generic tool for scientific data analysis which implements sophisticated support for:
1. Visualisation of data in 1D, 2D and 3D
2. Python script development, debugging and execution
3. Workflows for analysing scientific data calling Python and binary codes
The DAWN website has full detailed documentation, user videos, and information about the project. |
DAWN is free to download, and is available from all beamline machines during your session.
It is recommended that you download DAWN and familiarise yourself with the training documentaion before your beamtime as it shares many components with the GDA.
