It's day 20 of the Diamond Industrial Liaison advent calendar. Yesterday we introduced you to our team here in the Industrial Liaison office. Today you can get a full picture of how they can help researchers from industry through their tailored and bespoke service packages.
With our full service mode, there's no need for you to fully understand how a synchrotron works, or even the finer details of the technique, we'll take care of that. If you would like to come to Diamond and see the experiment take place, you would be very welcome. If you'd prefer to wait for the report, that's great too.
Our full service mode includes experimental design, data collection and data analysis. Essentially, you send us the sample(s), our highly qualified and experienced staff collect the data, perform the appropriate analysis (in discussion with you) and then send you a clear and accessible report explaining the results. We'll always agree the amount of work you want us to do in advance so everyone knows what to expect.
Perhaps you are performing routine measurements, or measurements you haven't run before. Perhaps you simply need an experienced pair of hands. Maybe you simply don't have time yourself. If any of these sound familiar, our data collection service may be able to help you.
With this service, you send us the sample(s) and our highly qualified and experienced staff can collect the data for you, exactly as you would do the measurements yourself. We then send you the data in an appropriate format along with a clear and accessible report giving all of the experimental details, allowing you to analyse it fully.
Of course we recognise that you may be very experienced or have challenging or delicate experiments that you simply would rather perform yourself or with your own team. You are of course very welcome to come to Diamond and perform the experiments yourself. In this case, our beamtime only service would be the most suitable choice.
Here, one of our highly qualified and experienced team will help you to get started with your experiment and will be available for technical support during your experiment. There are a wide variety of techniques available and with lots of options for dynamic and in situ experiments, the limit is really your imagination!
We know that you need flexible access to the facilities at Diamond and we are working to enable remote access to many of the techniques at Diamond. Please contact us for the latest technique availability information.
Perhaps your project is exploratory or you're branching out into a new area and looking for some additional input. Why not consider collaborating with Diamond?
