Vacancies with Diamond
Diamond is a new synchrotron light source in South Oxfordshire (UK), on the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus. This new scientific facility can be compared to a series of 'super microscopes', which will eventually provide up to 40 different experimental research stations, also called beamlines. Diamond became operational in January 2007 with an initial complement of seven beamlines and has since expanded rapidly. Diamond positions itself as a medium energy source (3GeV) in amongst some 50 other synchrotrons worldwide.
